May 2012. On behalf of my husband and me I’d like say that we have been very impressed with the service we have received. We’ve saved a fortune in what we would have paid at the solicitors. It really is remarkable. Please thank Emily and Charlene for their kind assistance ...

1. Age requirement
If you are aged 16 or over you can legally change your own name. However for children under 16 someone with ‘parental responsibility’ needs to apply. In some cases you might also need to obtain the permission of another person with ‘parental responsibility’, for example the child’s other parent, although this isn’t always the case.
