Gordon Ramsay Name Change

Published: 9th June 2008

A chef has changed his name to Gordon F Ramsay after being egged on by - workmates who say he is just as demanding.
Craig Davies, from Liverpool, said: "I take no s**t from my staff." What his middle initial stands for is a secret.

Jamie Jackson, of The Legal Deed Services, said: "We advised using just the letter F as we cannot allow applications which can be construed as offensive."

His firm has had lots of other deed poll requests using high profile names.

Mr Jackson said: "So far this year we've had a two James Bonds, a Harry Potter, and we did have one lady request a name change to Queen Elizabeth II but, although perfectly legal, we declined this application."
