A man's rights upon marriage
Although it’s traditional for a man to keep his surname upon marriage, some men do decide to change their name by either:
- Double-barrelling their surname with their wife's surname
- Taking their wife's surname
- Making their wife's surname a middle name
- ‘Meshing’ (or combining) their surname with their wife's surname to make a brand new surname
