8. Contacting the UK Identity & Passport Service
The UK Identity & Passport Office have a 24 hour Adviceline which you can call on 0300 222 0000. Your call will be routed to your nearest passport office (there are seven regional passport offices in the UK).
Alternatively, you can visit the passport section of the DirectGov website by clicking here. Passport application packs are available from most Post Offices. If you live in the UK you can also apply for a new passport online by clicking here.
